WEST VIRGINIA (LOOTPRESS) – Valley College has officially been recognized by the U.S. Department of Education as a non-profit institution, a change school leaders say will further strengthen its commitment to students and the communities it serves.

For more than 35 years, Valley College has provided career-focused education in healthcare, business, and information technology through its campuses in Ohio and West Virginia, as well as online programs.

Thousands of students have graduated with training aimed at meeting workforce needs and supporting local economies.

With the transition to non-profit status, the school announced that all revenue will now be reinvested into academic programs, technology, student services, and career readiness initiatives.
