U.S. Sen. Ruben Gallego seemed to further deflate his presidential aspirations during a stop in New Hampshire, an event that helped raise speculation about his intentions in the first place.
Gallego, an Arizona Democrat, appeared Aug. 22 at “Politics and Eggs,” a closely watched event at Saint Anselm College in Manchester, N.H. Over the past 30 years, it has become part of the presidential vetting process in New Hampshire, traditionally home to the nation’s first primary contest.
