A former Soo Greyhound is in the penalty box after he roughed up a man in a wheelchair at a Cambrian Mall business earlier this month.

Justin Butorac told court he felt “quite badly” about his actions that also included a theft of booze from business and pounding his fists at Sault Area Hospital’s emergency department in a span of days.

Butorac pleaded guilty to theft under $5,000, assault, threatening, assault and six counts failing to comply with his probation order.

He stole beer from a Bruce Street business on Aug. 6.
