Savannah Police reported another fatal shooting of a juvenile male on its X.com (formerly Twitter) account just after 11 p.m. Friday night.

SPD responded at 10:10 p.m. to reports of a shooting near the 4000 block of LaRoche Avenue on Savannah's east side. WSAV reported "a heavy police presence" at the Ponderosa Apartments at 4920 LaRoche Ave. around the time of the shooting. An SPD press release provided a juvenile male was found lying on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds. He died at the scene after initial medical treatment was administered.
