The Red Sox jumped the Yankees in both the Wild Card and AL East standings with last night’s win and will look to further the gap behind Garrett Crochet this afternoon. After making his debut batting fifth in last night’s game, Jhostynxon Garcia is out of today’s starting lineup as Nathaniel Lowe re-enters it after some more pinch-hitting magic yesterday. Boston clinched the season series against the Yankees with yesterday’s 1-0 win, and it’ll look to turn that into a series win today and its eighth-straight against the Bronx Bombers.
