The Toronto Blue Jays’ wait for their superstar slugger continues.

As the Blue Jays gear up for Game 2 of their series against the Miami Marlins on Saturday, they’ll have to do so without superstar Vladimir Guerrero Jr., once again.

Guerrero Jr. is absent from the team’s lineup for the fourth-straight game after exiting Monday’s outing against the Pittsburgh Pirates with hamstring inflammation. He is currently listed as day-to-day.

The team did not immediately say if he would be available off the bench.

Taking Guerrero’s spot at first base will once again be Ty France, who went 2-for-4 on Friday with two RBIs. He’ll bat sixth.

Guerrero missed the series opener against the Marlins, but manager John Schneider said ahead of the game that he was available off the bench if need be.
