MONTOUR FALLS, N.Y. (WETM) — Want to grow your green thumb? Cornell Cooperative Extension (CCE) Schuyler County announced that sign-ups are open for its master gardener classes, but time is of the essence.
Starting in September, CCE Schuyler will host a variety of master gardening classes that provide basic gardening skills along with skills on how to grow produce at home.
More specifically, some of the gardening topics that will be covered throughout the classes can be found below, CCE Schuyler noted: • Home gardening • Plant nutrition • Soils • Vegetables & fruits • Trees • Shrubs & lawns • Disease & insects
Those interested in becoming a master gardener will need to apply by Monday, September 1, CCE Schuyler emphasized.
