Democratic mayoral nominee Zohran Mamdani raised twice as much money as rival former Governor Andrew Cuomo over the past five weeks — but the majority of the socialist’s windfall came from outside the Big Apple, new city filings reveal.

The frontrunner trounced the field with $1.05 million in campaign funds, more than double the $507,000 independent candidate Cuomo raised, the latest campaign finance disclosures from the New York City Campaign Finance Board filed Friday revealed.

A total of 1,100 donors contributed to Mamdani’s campaign between July 12 and August 18, with 53% or $532,000 from outside NYC, and $490,000 from donors within the five boroughs.
