Motherwell boss Jens Berthel Askou insists Hearts fought back rather than his side giving anything away, as the sides drew 3-3 at Tynecastle.
But the Dane admits three points were there for Motherwell to take from Edinburgh.
Callum Slattery opened the scoring in 21 minutes with his first goal of the season, and when Tawanda Maswanhise and Emmanuel Longelo added strikes in 49 and 62 minutes, it looked like Askou would get his first Premiership win.
But Harry Milne lobbed in a stunning strike to pull a goal back in 63 minutes, and sub Claudio Braga netted in 73 and 83 minutes to snatch a point – and would have bagged a winner but for a superb save from Calum Ward.
Askou said: “I don’t think we gave anything away. I think Hearts worked really hard to get back into the game.
