Over twenty people were taken to the hospital after a school bus carrying Aliquippa Jr. High football players, parents, and staff crashed in Economy Boro, Beaver County, Saturday morning in Pennsylvania.

In a statement from Beaver County EMS, first responders were called to the 190 block of Shaffer Road after a bus carrying students, parents, and staff from the Aliquippa School District crashed just before 10 a.m.

Beaver County dispatch also confirmed that 21 people were taken to the hospital as a result of the incident. The severity of injuries was not immediately known.

Pittsburgh's Action News 4 later arrived at the scene, where one of the student's parents said the bus had been carrying members of the school district's middle school football team.
