A Bradenton man is facing first-degree attempted murder charges after stabbing his brother’s girlfriend several times.

Dakota Michael Hayes, 21, was arrested on Aug. 18 by Manatee County Sheriff's Office deputies . The victim told deputies that Hayes had threatened to kill her multiple times and that he had been obsessed with her for several years , calling him a “complete psycho.” The family of the victim has asked to keep her identity private.
