SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) - The Arkansas State Police is investigating a fatal pedestrian crash north of Eureka Springs.

The crash happened in the early morning hours of Saturday on State Highway 187 near Nightingale Road. The Carroll County coroner pronounced the victim dead at the scene. The identity of the victim is pending notification of the next of kin.

Investigators describe the vehicle involved as a newer model white Chevy pickup. Anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident or who has information relevant to the investigation is encouraged to contact Troop L at (479) 751-6663.
