The Madison County Sheriff's Office issued evacuation warnings Saturday morning for three creek drainages at risk from the Cloudrest fire in the Tobacco Root Mountains, the Beaverhead Deerlodge National Forest said in a release.

The warnings are for people in the Upper Wisconsin, Noble and Indian Creek areas. It is not an evacuation order of evacuation. Those living in these drainages should be prepared for evacuation if conditions change, the agency said.

Flames from the Cloudrest fire were visible from Twin Bridges.

Fire managers said they expect fire growth Saturday, especially on south-facing slopes full of dry, dead standing trees and downed timber.

Meanwhile, the Bivens Creek fire was relatively calm under favorable conditions Friday.
