MOORHEAD — Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton senior Aria Garrett didn’t have to look far to find a women’s basketball program that felt comfortable.

The 6-foot-1 Garrett verbally committed to Minnesota State Moorhead, she announced Thursday, Aug. 21, via social media.

“They have a good family feel, they’re really close to home and I just like that my family can come and watch me,” Garrett said. “It’s really important to me that they can come to my games and watch and support me.”

Garrett is the second commitment for MSUM’s 2026 recruiting class. Dell Rapids (S.D.) St. Mary guard Jenna Miller committed to the Dragons in July. MSUM head coach Karla Nelson can’t comment on recruits until they sign.
