You’ve been fascinated this preseason – yeah, you – with Indianapolis Colts third-team quarterback Riley Leonard, and he hadn’t even done anything yet. Seriously, what did he do before Saturday's NFL preseason game against the Cincinnati Bengals ? Received third-team reps during training camp, which is something I guess, but he hadn’t looked terribly accurate on the practice fields of Grand Park in Westfield.

Leonard looked worse in the actual (OK, pretend) football games. What was he in the first two exhibition games? Just 19-for-36 for 156 yards. That 52.8% accuracy and 4.3 yards per attempt provided the worst possible combination of Colts backup QB Anthony Richardson Sr. and starter Daniel Jones – Richardson’s lack of accuracy, Jones’ lack of courage.
