BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - A man has been arrested after allegedly grabbing a teacher on a school campus in Baton Rouge, according to the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office.

Court documents identify the suspect as Darius James Moses, 30.

Moses faces charges of battery of a school teacher (felony) and entry on or remaining in places after forbidden (misdemeanor).

According to the affidavit, the incident happened on July 22, 2025, at Broadmoor High School, where the teacher was preparing for the upcoming school year.

Deputies say Moses followed her from the weight room into her classroom, attempted to talk with her, and then grabbed her around the waist before also grabbing her buttocks.
