SAN ANTONIO — A trail of alleged TikTok posts helped crack a murder case from late May , according to an arrest affidavit.

23-year-old Naqibullah Habibzoi is accused of shooting and killing a man on San Antonio's northwest side on May 31.

Investigators say Habibzoi posted threats and photos of the victim online, before they say he drove from Houston to San Antonio to carry out the killing.

According to an arrest warrant, this was all about money and revenge. And it was social media that eventually led detectives straight to the suspect.

On May 31, officers responded to the 9100 block of Dartbrook Drive for a shooting.

When officers got there, they found the victim, 34-year-old Awal Noor Kiftan, who had been shot multiple times. He died on the scene.
