The Broncos ended the preseason with a 28-19 win on Saturday against the New Orleans Saints. Here are grades for the Denver victory:

Offense

Another slow start for the first-team offense is a mild concern. It felt a lot like the 49ers preseason game with quarterback Bo Nix responding well to early adversity. His connection with veteran wide receiver Courtland Sutton was on full display with four catches for 83 yards and a touchdown. Quarterback Sam Ehlinger played nearly three full quarters and led the offense on four scoring drives (two field goals and two touchdowns). Run blocking and ground production were uneven, though, with still more questions than answers with the regular season now on the horizon.
