Two weeks after the killing of Latoysia Davis, a 34-year-old mother of 10, her family is still waiting for answers and preparing to lay her to rest.

“We just want to give her the proper homegoing she deserved,” said cousin TyQuander Thompson. “She was loved by many, and just to be able to set a good foundation for the kids to be able to take care of them in the future.”

Davis was shot and killed around 2 a.m. on Aug. 9. The Orange County Sheriff’s Office has not announced any arrests in the case.
