CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WCIA) -- Another member of Illinois's 2004-05 Final Four team returned home to reconnect with Illini fans.

All-American Luther Head was at Gameday Spirit in Champaign to sign autographs and meet the fans who cheered him on two decades ago.

"It's so special, man, that people remember the games, those days, that year," said Head. "It's very special to us that when we come back and people get excited, it makes us excited."

Head averaged nearly 16 points per game in his senior season at Illinois, scoring 21 points in the national championship game against North Carolina.
