SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - The Sioux Falls Canaries have been surging as of late, clinching their spot in the playoffs just a few days ago.

The man that has been with them through it all over the last 5 seasons hit a milestone during the team’s most recent road trip.

Mike Meyer has managed the team since 2020 and in a ten inning game against Cleburne last weekend he secured his 379th win as the field manager for the Canaries, the most by any manager in the team’s history.

“It’s awesome don’t get me wrong it’s a great feat to have the most wins in Canaries history and really proud of that but more importantly looking at what we can do this year to finally get over that hump and make a big run in the playoffs and that’s my big focus right now,” said Mike Meyer, Canaries manager
