HERMON, Maine (WABI) - It was a big day of fun for Hermon residents to “sizzle in the sun.”
The annual “Hermon Summer Sizzler” returned Saturday, beginning at 8:30 a.m. right outside Patricia A. Duran School.
Around 70 unique cars pulled up for a special antique car show which ran from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Throughout the day, 3 on 3 basketball matches occurred, consisting of the teams of all age groups.
Other events throughout the day included a 50/50 raffle, food trucks, and more
Coordinators say that the unique events at the Summer Sizzler allow local organizations to get involved in with the community, while also getting help in return.
“One of the biggest things about our car show is that its a family event, and everybody that comes here really, truly cares for everybody thats here.
