BULLHEAD CITY — The Bullhead City Parks and Recreation Commission made recommendations on three matters involving activities at Rotary Park during its regular August meeting on Wednesday.
Commissioners recommended adoption of a city ordinance that would codify an existing prohibition of use of the Rotary Park jetty for jumping or diving into the Colorado River, adoption of a speed limit for motorized vehicles using city trails and addition of a limited-use off-leash dog beach that had been discussed during a recent joint workshop with the Bullhead City Council. Each action came on 4-0 votes by the five-member commission; Commissioner Wanda Strosnider was absent. ×
