ORANGEBURG COUNTY, S.C. — Fire departments from across the South Carolina Midlands and Lowcountry have been called to Orangeburg County to assist with a large outdoor fire.

Details are still limited, but multiple departments responding to the scene have shared photos of a massive plume of smoke coming from a large pile of debris at Don's Car Crushing, which is located outside of Holly Hill.

Departments as far away as Little Mountain and Ladson have confirmed on social media that they were responding to the area. C&B Fire Department out of Ladson said they were assisting with a fire and would remain on the scene throughout the night to assist.
