A nightmare first inning would ultimately doom Dean Kremer and the Orioles, but not before the O’s offense did what they could to keep pace with the powerful Astros in a 9-8 loss on Saturday night at Camden Yards.

The first inning of this game was a pitching disasterclass for both teams. Dean Kremer, who had been in fine form coming into the evening, allowed as many runs in the opening frame of this game as he had in the entirety of his previous three starts combined.
