SALT LAKE CITY — Water was restored to the city of Draper on Saturday after an emergency water shutdown was triggered on Thursday, and then again due to another incident on Friday into Saturday.

Friday’s water shutdown was triggered when a water leak occurred, forcing the city to shut the water off while crews worked on the leak.

Once the first water leak was fixed, a second emergency water shutdown started for parts of Draper on Friday due to repairs being made on second water leak.

By Saturday at 11:44 a.m., the city announced that the water service was restored.

“Areas of the road that were excavated have been patched or covered with plates. Paving will take place next week, weather permitting,” the city said. “We appreciate your patience while we completed these repairs.”
