Bronx, NY – A 26-year-old man was sucker-punched and robbed of his chain in a violent ambush outside a Bronx building, with one of the suspects flashing a gun and threatening him before both fled through a nearby park.

The attack occurred around 6:00 p.m. on Thursday in front of 1490 Sheridan Boulevard. According to police, the victim was approached from behind by two unidentified males. One suspect struck the man in the back of the head, while the other yanked a chain from around his neck.

As the victim attempted to retrieve his jewelry, the second suspect revealed a firearm tucked in his waistband and made verbal threats, forcing the man to back off. Though he suffered minor injuries during the robbery, the victim declined medical attention at the scene.
