Damian Murphy-Clarke before and after losing weight with Slimming World

A Nottinghamshire father says his entire family has started eating healthily after he lost almost 7st. Damian Murphy-Clarke, 42, first joined a Slimming World group just under three years ago and never imagined his life, as well as his family's, would be changed.

Despite attending his weekly meetings, Damian still struggled with his weight for the first year-and-a-half to two years, "losing a bit, gaining a bit". He said: "My husband and I first joined Slimming World after we got married because we'd booked a family holiday so we thought let's lose weight.

"The holiday came and went and my motivation wasn't really there and we were going though the adoption process as well." The father-of-four weighed 18st9lbs
