El Paso pro boxer Stephanie Han retained her World Boxing Association lightweight title with a 10-round, unanimous decision win over Colombia's Paulina Angel.

The fight on Saturday, Aug. 23, which aired on DAZN, was held at the Caribe Royale Resort in Orlando, Florida.

Han dealt with plenty of adversity in the fight. She was knocked down in the first round with a right hand and suffered a cut on the forehead in the fourth.

However, Han was the more accurate boxer most of the night. She landed several left hooks and was busier than Angel.

Angel proved to be a worthy opponent; she was aggressive and landed her fair share of good right hands.

Han won 98-91 on all three scorecards.
