FLORENCE , S.C. – Drew Marlowe was pleased with the way his team started Friday’s season-opening rivalry game at West Florence.

In all three phases, actually, as the Bruins jumped to a three-score lead over the rival Knights early in the second quarter.

That was more than enough of a cushion for SFHS, who rolled to a 37-6 win at Knight Stadium for its fourth consecutive victory in the series. South now leads the all-time series 31-27.
