Leeds United had a day to forget in north London as they fell to defeat against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.

Daniel Farke 's side made their journey to the capital with spirits high after an opening day 1-0 win over Everton on Monday night. But they knew that an enthused Arsenal, following the announcement of new signing Eberechi Eze, would provide a different task.

The Whites found themselves 2-0 down at the break owing to goals from Jurrien Timber and Bukayo Saka. It got worse in the second half, as well, as Viktor Gyokeres (2) and a second from Timber saw Leeds fall to a 5-0 defeat.
