BRAINERD — The 16th annual Department of Minnesota's American Legion Auxiliary Junior Fun Weekend took place Aug. 8-10 at Legionville School Patrol Camp in rural Brainerd.
This event is an opportunity for the auxiliary junior members, ages 17 and younger, to get together for fun and to learn about American Legion Auxiliary programs.
The junior members engaged in activities such as flag raising and lowering, poppy making, tie dying shirts, poppy themed arts and crafts, nature walks and swimming in North Long Lake.
