PITTSBURGH -- The Pittsburgh Steelers could soon welcome back offensive tackle Calvin Anderson . Anderson, who has been out since August 1 with a soft-tissue injury, received positive news on Saturday.
Head coach Mike Tomlin named Anderson as one of the players starting to work his way back to the team after missing the entire preseason for the first time since his injury.
Anderson slipped during the final two-minute period of the Friday Night Lights practice and appeared to pull something, and Dylan Cook replaced him at right tackle.
The team then went out and signed Andrus Peat to help fill in some of the veteran depth on the offensive line with Anderson sidelined.
