Aug. 23—The Boulder County commissioners are slated to hold a public hearing 9 a.m. Thursday on the adoption of county's Vision Zero action plan for transportation safety.

Boulder County's Vision Zero goal, identified in the 2020 Transportation Master Plan, is to eliminate all serious injury and fatal traffic crashes by 2035. The plan identifies and prioritizes strategies and actions to work toward the goal, including a comprehensive technical safety analysis to identify overall crash trends and high-crash locations of focus.

Community members can attend or participate in person on the third floor of the Boulder County Courthouse, 1325 Pearl St., Boulder, or join the hearing virtually. To attend or speak, register at bouldercounty.gov/events/bocc-public-hearing-vision-zero-action-plan/
