OAKLEY — This Cassia County town will host Gov. Brad Little’s next “Capital for a Day” event from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Aug. 28 at the Oakley City Office/Senior Center, 125 North Center Ave.
“It is an honor to bring my next Capital for a Day to Oakley,” Gov. Little said. “I look forward to sharing this tradition with the good people of Cassia County so we can discuss what’s on their minds when it comes to good government and how we can better serve them.”
Officials joining Gov. Little will include Idaho Lt. Governor Scott Bedke, an Oakley High School graduate; Idaho Superintendent of Public Instruction Debbie Critchfield, Idaho State Department of Agriculture Director Chanel Tewalt, Idaho Department of Water Resources Director Mat Weaver, Department of Parks and Recreation Director Susan Bux
