Yellowstone National Park visits continue to skyrocket. In July, the park saw 975,109 visitors. Although this was a slight decrease compared to last year, it was still a substantial number as the park inches closer to its record pace from 2021.

On the opposite side, more incidents are taking place due to the increase in visitors. Among recent arrests was a tourist handcuffed for a bison incident . We have also seen visitors breaking drone rules , leading to other fines.

Another fine was issued last year, causing quite a stir. A Wyoming man ran a wolf over with a snowmobile and proceeded to display it on social media, with disturbing acts. Ultimately, the fine itself caused quite a stir, so much so that a boycott of Wyoming almost took place.
