Lil Nas X was "arrested for battery on a police officer" after his hospitalization on Thursday (Aug. 21), according to a police statement provided to NBC .

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, officers responded to reports of a naked man just before 6AM.

He reportedly charged at officers when they arrived. A source close to law enforcement also says that he punched a police officer in the face twice during the altercation.
