RAVENNA, Ohio - Sections of two Portage County roads will be closed for culvert replacements this week, the Ohio Department of Transportation announced .

U.S. 224 just west of the Mahoning County line in Deerfield Township will be closed from Monday through Friday.

Motorists are suggested to detour around the closing by using Ohio Route 225, Interstate 76 and Ohio Route 534.

And on the same days in Rootstown Township, Hartville Road at Ohio 44 will be closed.

ODOT did not provide a detour in advance, but said signs will be posted.
