The Toronto Blue Jays made a pair of roster moves Sunday, recalling right-hander Paxton Schultz from triple-A Buffalo and optioning left-hander Mason Fluharty to the Bisons.
Schultz, 27, will be active for the series finale against the Miami Marlins at LoanDepot Park. He has appeared in multiple stints with Toronto this season, providing length out of the bullpen and spot-start depth when needed.
With Buffalo, Schultz has posted steady numbers with a 3–3 record, 2.68 ERA, and 43 strikeouts in over 19 appearances. Schultz has appeared in 12 games with the Blue Jays where he has a 4.56 ERA and 27 strikeouts in 23.2 innings.
