After Katy Perry’s split from Orlando Bloom, it seems she’s getting closer with her pal Kim Kardashian, but it may interfere with another friendship.

In case you missed it, an inside source told Star Magazine that Perry was “so wrapped up” with Bloom, but after their engagement ended, she’s now focusing on her friendship with Kardashian. They said, “There’s a huge hole in her life and this renewed friendship with Kim has helped to fill that.”

“She and Kim have been texting a ton and even having long calls,” the inside source claimed. “They’ve been friends for years, but this has really strengthened their bond.”

The insider added, “[They’re] encouraging each other and pumping each other up about all the hot guys they can meet together. They want to get out and have fun and go to parties
