The injury to rookie Derrick Harmon has given a temporary reprieve to a couple veteran defensive linemen who could be in danger of not making the team.

Isaiahh Loudermilk, who enters his fifth season with the Steelers, and DeMarvin Leal, a third-round draft choice in 2022, have a chance to survive Tuesday’s roster cutdown while Harmon is sidelined.

But with two rookie draft picks — and a third who is basically a rookie — the numbers keeping getting stacked against them.
