AARON Rodgers apparently turned down more money than he was offered by the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Rodgers , 41, signed a one-year deal with the Steelers worth $13.65 million this summer.

He ended months of speculation about his future after being released by the New York Jets in March.

The quarterback is guaranteed to earn $10 million from the deal.

And incentives mean it could possibly be worth up to $19.5 million.

But former Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback Bryant McFadden claimed the team were ready to pay more.

The 43-year-old two-time Super Bowl champion is now an analyst for CBS.
