CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. – A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket launched from Cape Canaveral early this morning, carrying nearly 5,000 pounds of food and gear to the International Space Station (ISS).

This mission marks SpaceX's 33rd resupply mission for NASA. The launch occurred just before 3:00 a.m. and was followed by the successful landing of the first stage on the drone ship "A Shortfall of Gravitas" approximately nine minutes later.

The Dragon capsule, which is part of this mission, is expected to dock with the ISS tomorrow morning.

This delivery aims to support the astronauts aboard the ISS with essential supplies and equipment.
