President Donald Trump slammed a judge on Sunday who issued him one of the largest civil fraud penalties in New York state history.

In a post on Truth Social, Trump slammed Judge Arthur Engoron of the New York Supreme Court, calling him corrupt and crooked. Engeron ordered Trump to pay a penalty of $355 million after finding him guilty of committing financial fraud by undervaluing his properties.

With interest, the fine that Engoron assessed against Trump swelled to more than $527 million.

An appeals court overturned Engoron's penalty on Friday. In a 323-page decision with no clear majority, the court ruled that Engeron's penalty was excessive and likely violated the U.S. Constitution.

Trump celebrated the ruling on Sunday and slammed Engoron in the process.

"The Appellate Court removed incompetent Judge Engoron, but he refused to go, or even to acknowledge them," Trump's post reads. "He’s a highly overturned, CROOKED Judge, who is retiring into a life of lawsuits, along with his Chief Clerk, soon! He is almost as Corrupt as Leticia James, but not quite!"
