ATLANTA — An investigation is underway after a woman was shot following a possible road rage incident Saturday night, according to the Atlanta Police Department.
Police said officers were called to an area along Joseph E. Boone Blvd. NW at around 11:21 p.m., on Aug. 23 and found a 25-year-old woman with a gunshot wound.
According to police, the woman was alert, conscious and breathing and was taken to the hospital for further treatment.
Police said the preliminary investigation indicates the woman's injuries were sustained as a result of a road rage incident.
