The New England Patriots announced the waiving of guard Layden Robinson with the injury designation. In the event the 2024 draft choice goes unclaimed, he would revert to the organization’s injured reserve.
Robinson, 24, arrived in the fourth round of last year’s class at pick No. 103 overall. The 6-foot-3, 311-pound Texas A&M product appeared in 13 games during his rookie regular season. He made 11 starts, going from left guard to right guard, and was charted by Pro Football Focus for allowing 33 quarterback pressures in pass protection by January’s finale.
