Blue skies and pleasant summer weather are forecast to be making a welcome return to Saskatchewan.

Extended forecasts from Environment Canada on Sunday showed hot days and fine weather will blanket the province this coming week, a welcome reprieve after a costly series of storms last week, where lightning streaked across the prairie skies and hail pounded crops. A number of tornado warnings were also issued.
