ORLANDO, Fla. — The Miss America Organization has announced that the 2026 Miss America and Miss America’s Teen competitions will return to Orlando next week, marking a major shift in scheduling after an official post last June.

Traditionally held in January, the competitions will now take place in September, culminating with the crowning of Miss America 2026 on Sunday, Sept. 7 at the Walt Disney Theater at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts. Miss America’s Teen finals will be held the evening before on Saturday, Sept. 6.

Both events will be streamed on YouTube and PageantVision.com , with tickets also available for in-person audiences.

Competition Schedule

Tuesday, Sept. 2, 7 p.m. EST: Teen Preliminary Competition

Wednesday, Sept. 3, 7 p.m. EST: Miss Preliminary Compe
