Unlike previous years, UCalgary's senior director of ancillary services Shane Royal said there is no waitlist for students still seeking on-campus housing

The University of Calgary campus was buzzing with excitement on Sunday as more than 1,200 first-year students moved into campus residences ahead of orientation week festivities.

Sunday marked the official move-in day for 1,216 incoming students, with returning students set to arrive throughout the coming week.
