ARLINGTON, Texas — The injury bug has hit the Dallas Wings yet again.

The team announced Sunday that rookie guard JJ Quinerly suffered an ACL sprain in her left knee during the Aug. 20 loss against the Los Angeles Sparks . Quinerly is expected to make a full recovery, but the injury will sideline her for the remainder of the season.

Quinerly joins Ty Harris, Li Yeuru and Arike Ogunbowale on the bench. Harris and Yeuru have both been ruled out for the remainder of the season.

Dallas can err on the side of caution when it comes to injuries since they will not be competing in the playoffs. The team was eliminated from postseason play on Wednesday and currently holds the worst record in the league (9-28).
